1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ECSC Resources Drive(“the Portal”, “we”, “us”), hosted at https://edu.ecsc-uok.com, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the Portal.

2. Eligibility & Authorized Use

The Portal is intended exclusively for undergraduate students, postgraduate scholars, lecturers, and authorized members of the Department of Electronic and Computer Science at the University of Kelaniya.

  • Accounts are issued based on verified student registration numbers.
  • Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
  • Sharing account credentials with unauthorized external parties is strictly prohibited.

3. Educational Use of Materials

All lecture slides, past question papers, syllabi, code repositories, and supplementary study resources made available via the Portal are provided strictly for individual academic and educational reference:

  • Commercial distribution, resale, or unauthorized republication of course materials is prohibited.
  • Intellectual property rights of academic materials remain with their respective authors, faculty members, and the University of Kelaniya.

4. User Contributions & Uploads

Students may submit course materials, notes, or reference documents for review by club administrators:

  • You must hold the necessary rights or permissions to share any materials submitted.
  • Submitting malicious software, copyrighted materials without authorization, or offensive content will result in immediate account suspension.
  • Administrators reserve the right to review, approve, reclassify, or reject any submitted content.

5. Third-Party Services & Google Drive

The Portal utilizes Google Drive APIs to host and stream educational materials. By using the service, you acknowledge that file accessibility is subject to Google Cloud service availability and policies. We strive to maintain uninterrupted availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

The Portal and its resources are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. ECSC and the University of Kelaniya shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Portal.
